Scientists announced recently that they had discovered major differences in the brains of people who had liberal political and social views and those who did not. They discovered that not only did liberal brains have smaller amygdalas than normal thinking persons, but that liberals also had a specific variant of the DRD4 gene that was a determining factor of their reality-warped liberal mindset. I can't say that this discovery really surprised me. I mean, c'mon, we all knew liberals had a twisted sense of reality didn't we? Did we really need scientists to actually "prove" it to us? My question is does this mean that liberals are all born with a birth defect? Perhaps this is why they all seemed so damned determined to give everything away for free, it's just a birth defect. The problem is it ain't like it's a clubbed foot or a cleft pallet, this is a deep-in-the-brain defect, it can't easily be rectified. I guess we could try and require all liberals to go in for a full frontal lobotomy and see if that helps, but I'm guessin' that we're stuck with them and their "disability". Perhaps next scientists will work on a cure for liberalism. If they can discover that perhaps there is hope for us all.
